Dance for Parkinson’s Australia – Teacher Training Overview
We work in a collaborative network with Dance for PD and People Dancing in the UK to provide a high quality, internationally recognised training program.
There are two components for completing the Dance for PD Introductory Workshop
1. A self-directed online course that you can start at any time and finished prior the Intro Teacher Training Workshop
2. An Intro Teacher Training Workshop component either in-person or online.
Interested in Teacher Training? Steps to getting started:
1. The place to start is to register your interest with Dance for PD and apply for a training program through this link. Furthering information about training workshops and the on-demand course will be sent through in response.
2. Once registered with Dance for PD, complete the on-demand course through People Dancing. More information can be found here
3. Participate in a Dance for PD Introductory Workshop in September 2026 or talk to us about a tailored program.
