The Newcastle Dance4Parkinson’s community had dancers attend the Dancing Connections Event at the Opera House this August.
The group loved the community class and found the movement and sound particularly interesting and wonderful collaboration between DPA and Fresh Movement artists.
The group also had a superb French theme around the Olympics with fantastic efforts from the dancers, 2 Marcel Marceau in the house!
Dance4wellbeing has some exciting news coming up – we have been invited to home our classes at the state of the Art community hub newly built in Lake Macquarie.
We will be moving our programs to this fabulous venue on the 12th November this year with the D4W team in residence.
Meanwhile, Jess is opening new programs in South Western NSW in Yass Valley & Young coming soon.
Much work has been done to connect with new communities and health in the region with Jess presenting to 5 PD support groups, with Gundagai to follow.
