After a lovely Autumn term Winter is here! A good time to keep warm with dancing and with the warmth of the class community. ZEST now has 18 regular classes taking place across the ACT. We are pleased to confirm the standing ZESTup class continues in Term 3 taught by Debora and located at Gorman Arts Centre in D-Block Studio on Batman Street.

TERM 3 DATES, 2026
Classes at Greenway Views (Tuesdays @ 9.45am) and Hughes (Fridays @ 10am) and LDK Amberfield (Thursdays @ 10am,11am and 12pm – For residents only) continue throughout most of the school holidays – you are always welcome to join in and keep the inner dancer satisfied! Details here.
For those classes that follow school terms, we commence TERM 3 on –
MONDAY 20 JULY and conclude FRIDAY 25 September – a 10 week term.
Note: the Araluen class on Tuesdays will now start at 11.15am.
CLASS THEME for TERM 3 : COLOUR OUR WORLD
This term we’ll be inspired by the theme of colour in music and movement. Don’t we just need a splash of colour on the wintery days! These different term themes really get us moving.
TEACHING ARTISTS
During Term 2 you will have met some new dance teaching artists in some of our classes, as some members of our ZEST team flew off for some long awaited cultural riches from the northern hemisphere.
Philip returns for Term 3.
Jacqui will be away for the first half of Term 3, and her classes will be looked after by the ZEST Team plus Kirsty and Robyn.
Debora’s classes at the start of term 3, will be looked after by the ZEST Team plus Viv and Robyn.
The ZEST team is delighted to have the talents of the guest teachers Ruth, Kirsty, Robyn, Gretel, Amy and Viv, to bring their new dances to your classes.

A STELLAR LINEUP 2026
Dance Artist Liz Lea has again invited ZEST to join The Stellar Lineup dance performance program to be held at Belconnen Arts Centre on Friday 4 December at 7pm and Saturday 5 December at 3pm. There will be Rehearsals in October and November. Details will be provided when finalised. Hope you will consider being either a performer or an audience member for what is expected to be a fabulous showcase of the diversity and delight in dance in Canberra.
