ACT DANCE DOINGS SEPTEMBER 2025

Dance life in the ACT continues to be busy and refreshing this winter, and so many of our dancers appreciate the chance to keep up their weekly dance exercise program and ensure they keep fit and fabulous throughout the colder months.  And check the foot fashions!

Our theme for Term 2 focussed on music from STAGE AND SCREEN, and opened up a Pandora’s box of dance delights, from many past decades and favourite films and stage shows.

For this term we have been inspired by music from around the world as we GO INTERNATIONAL, without the hassle and expense of visas, vaccinations and long flights!  Thus far we have been visiting Africa, the Pacific Islands, Europe, Asia, the Americas and the Indian continent.  It has certainly provided us all with a deep appreciation of the many and rich cultures that abound in our world.

We are very thrilled to announce that one of our venues, The Henry Retirement Village, has such an enthusiastic group of dancers, they have requested a second weekly class!  So Mondays and Fridays see the residents access a ZEST experience from one of our terrific team.  The Henry leads the way in healthy ageing in the ACT!!

On Wednesday 29 October we will be presenting at the Parkinson’s ACT Conference, delivered at the Southern Cross Club in Woden, ACT, alongside an impressive array of speakers.  Check out all the details here – and please join us if you are in town.

Dance life in the ACT is full and fun, and all visitors to town are welcome to join us at anytime.  Check out all our classes here.
