Held on October 27 & 28, the online festival was open to members of the Parkinson’s community, partners, carers, friends, teaching artists, health professionals, those who have an interest in creative ageing and the general community.
Over two days we engaged in a range of accessible activities and learned more about quality of life interventions including dance, music, painting, craft and engaged in discussions around creative wellbeing. With guest presenters from the US, UK, Brazil, Sri Lanka and Australia.
The festival was held in collaboration with Parkinson’s Queensland, Dance for PD and the Parkinson’s community.
With support from: Arts Front, COTA-QLD, the Gambling Community Benefit Funds, Arts Queensland and the Arts Health Network Queensland.
Thank you to all of our supporters, presenters, and attendees. We hope to see you at next year’s event!
